The town where new development becomes active by an urban development plan now slightly away from the urban area of Japan. Protagonist Inui Soushi to be detective assistant in such a town, detective Hakuyouin Reika, it lives together with the attendant Kazama Yuria in the building of the detective bureau.
"Detective assistant" the chore is a center of work though the title, there is a current state only as a clerk in charge of physical labor. As such a halfway detective assistant, there was a reason to belong to this detective bureau.
Because Soushi was a favorite pet that Reika picked up.
